Forte Taíno is staffed by a dedicated villa team. Their role is to ensure your stay is effortless. They are not available for tasks outside the scope of the agreed service package, and guests are expected to treat all staff with courtesy and respect.

Additional services — excursions, spa treatments, golf arrangements, transportation, etc. — are available and must be requested in advance. Costs for additional services are separate from the accommodation rate unless explicitly included in your package.

Forte Taíno takes reasonable care to maintain the property in a safe and well-functioning condition. However, guests acknowledge that certain features of the villa — including the swimming pool, outdoor terraces, garden areas, and staircases — carry inherent risks, particularly for young children and non-swimmers.

Guests assume full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of all members of their party throughout the duration of their stay. Forte Taíno and its ownership team accept no liability for any personal injury, accident, illness, loss, or damage to personal property sustained on the premises, except where such liability arises directly from our own proven negligence.

Parents and guardians are solely responsible for supervising minors at all times. The swimming pool is not monitored and no lifeguard is on duty.

Guests are advised to ensure their travel insurance includes personal accident and medical coverage prior to arrival. Forte Taíno can assist in coordinating access to local medical services where required, but accepts no responsibility for the cost, quality, or outcome of such services.

Forte Taíno offers access to an in-villa chef and, where arranged, provisioning services coordinated through our concierge. Every reasonable effort is made to source quality ingredients and prepare meals to a high standard.

However, Forte Taíno, its ownership team, villa chef, and any appointed concierge or provisioning partner accept no liability for any illness, allergic reaction, anaphylaxis, food poisoning, or adverse health outcome arising from the consumption of food or beverages prepared or supplied during your stay.

Guests are solely responsible for disclosing all dietary requirements, allergies, and intolerances — including those of all members of their party — prior to arrival and in writing. Disclosure does not transfer liability to Forte Taíno or its team; it enables us to take appropriate care.

Guests with severe or life-threatening allergies are advised to carry appropriate medication at all times, including epinephrine auto-injectors where prescribed. Forte Taíno cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free environment.

Third-party food and beverage deliveries, restaurant recommendations, and off-site dining arrangements made on the guest's behalf are entirely outside our control. Forte Taíno accepts no responsibility for the quality, safety, or handling of any food sourced or consumed beyond the villa.

Forte Taíno shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control — including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, acts of God, civil unrest, or pandemic-related travel disruption.

In such circumstances, we will endeavor to offer alternative dates or a credit toward a future stay. Refunds under force majeure are at the discretion of management and subject to the individual circumstances of each case.
